In addition to providing the DC's Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment with a location library and project management solution and its Reel-Crew directory, Reel-Scout will now also build Reel-Music™ for the film office. Reel-Music™ is an on-line directory that enables the film office to track, manage, and promote all its local music-related entities: companies, bands, venue, etc. Combined, these management solutions allow the film office to refine their current practices, respond quickly to inquiries, manage productions, crew and work more closely with its clients.
Among many other goals, the mission of the DC's Office of Cable Television, Film, Music and Entertainment is to produce and broadcast programming for the District of Columbia’s public, educational, and government access cable channels, and support and help foster D.C.'s creative economy and film industry.
