Film Nevada Chooses Reel-Scout

Film Nevada has selected Reel-Scout™ as its official location management solution, equipping the film office with a robust digital location library and database to more effectively market and promote the state's diverse filming locations. The platform will streamline how the office manages its location assets, and strengthens collaboration with production clients throughout the process.

Film Nevada is the official state film commission, operating under the Governor's Office of Economic Development (GOED) since 1982. The office serves as the primary resource for productions seeking to film in Nevada — connecting projects with local crew, vendors, equipment, and state-of-the-art facilities, while streamlining permitting and coordinating intergovernmental support statewide. Film Nevada also administers the Transferable Tax Credit for Film and Other Productions program, a key incentive designed to attract productions and drive sustainable industry growth across the state.

With an extensive locations database powered by Reel-Scout and a comprehensive crew and services directory, Film Nevada is equipped to support productions of every scale — from commercial shoots to major film and television projects. The commission is committed to delivering responsive, professional service that keeps productions on schedule and on budget, to make Nevada a go-to destination that filmmakers return to again and again.
