Indie Film "Another You" Wraps Up in Charleston, West Virginia

Another You, an independent film directed by Christopher Robert, starring Ksenia Solo (Black Swan and SyFy's Lost Girl) and Diego Boneta (Rock of Ages), recently wrapped principal photography in Charleston, West Virginia.

Another You is a film about connections and second chances in love. It's a story about a young woman's obsession with her boyfriend and the ups and downs in their relationship.

Josh Foglio, the line producer for Another You, said they chose West Virginia to film the movie because of the wonderful experience they'd had there when making J.J. Abrams' Super 8 in Weirton. A Weirton native himself, Foglio shared, "Everyone was just so welcoming. People were just very generous and just very different than what they were used to in Los Angeles."

The town's warm hospitality and the West Virginia film tax credits are the main reasons they're back to film another production. "The film office was great," Foglio said. "They were so willing to help."

In addition to helping the producers apply for credits, the West Virginia Film Office was able to suggest locations for the crew to make their film.

Scott Castleman, University of Charleston's communications director, said the Film Office contacted the school to see if they were interested in having the film shot on their campus. (Browse University of Charleston's locations available for filming.)
