Reel-Scout Builds Location Gallery for the Fort Worth Film Commission

The Forth Worth Film Commission becomes the sixth film office in Texas to select Reel-Scout for its location management solution.

Using its global locations search site LocationsHub as a foundation, Reel-Scout has built a location gallery for the Fort Worth Film Commission. This gallery integrates with the film commission's website and displays the locations that are part of the Fort Worth Film Commission's LocationsHub account.

The Fort Worth Film Commission can control which locations are visible through the gallery by marking them public or private. All locations marked public are viewable both through the website gallery, as well as through LocationsHub itself. As a result, the locations receive double exposure.

In addition to the public searching capability that the gallery offers, the Fort Worth Film Commission can create collections of locations, called lightboxes, and share those with the productions interested in shooting in Fort Worth.

As America's 16th-largest city, Fort Worth is home to some of the best film locations in the world. A few of the famous Fort Worth landmarks include the Stockyards National Historic District, the Cultural District and Texas Motor Speedway. Conveniently located twenty minutes from D/FW International Airport, 30 miles west of Dallas, Fort Worth is also near authentic ranches, open plains, and other diverse settings - from Metropolitan chic to a scene out of the Old West.
